By definition, multi-media displays are a system by which almost any electronic media can be displayed, regardless of format or resolution. It may be an advertising display in the reception area of a multi-national corporation, a projected image showing in a building lift lobby, or a series of displays at a trade show. The display system may use a projector, plasma display, LCD or LED display and there may be one or many displays. Depending upon the application and budget, virtually any shape, size and configuration is available. Important considerations for these types of displays are the environment into which they are to be placed, the amount of ambient light present, the type and format of the media to be presented and the maintenance overhead to maintain the media and system.
