Auditoriums are a large meeting space where two key design considerations apply. The presenter must be able to be heard and seen. This means that the audio reinforcement system must be carefully designed to not only allow the presenter to be heard, but also any media which is presented in the space. Similarly, the presenter must be able to be seen as well as any media they may wish to present. The audience may need to ask the presenter questions, this requirement must also be considered. The auditorium may have an operator’s booth where audio mixing, vision switching capabilities and control facilities are housed or may contain a lectern where the presenter controls all of the services within the auditorium from a touch screen or control device.
